70% Of Moms Will Still Celebrate Halloween With Their Kids, Says Survey
Aug 4, 2020
Even though it is barely August, you can feel it in the air. Even when you go into stores, they are already preparing for the big night. I am talking about Halloween . Halloween may not be until the end of October, but stores start planning months in advance, and the candy and costumes seem to enter the stores earlier every single year. However, many people are questioning how Halloween is going to look this year. With the COVID-19 pandemic, is it going to be safe for our children to be going up to stranger’s homes and collecting candy?
This may actually turn out to be the biggest Halloween we have seen in a while. This is partly due to everyone being told to stay home for months that we are all just yearning to get outside and have some fun. Halloween also falls on a Saturday this year, so there is no pressure to get home and go to sleep for school or work the next day.
According to ITOAction , a survey was conducted nation-wide and an overwhelming 70 percent of moms said that thy expect to celebrate Halloween with their children this year. The majority of moms also plan to purchase a costume for their children, as opposed to making it.

There are also moms out there who are not afraid to explore "Trunk or Treating" where a group of cars in the community come together in a parking log. This way the children can trick or treat out of the trunks of fully decorated cars. When asked how they plan on celebrating Halloween, 46 percent of the moms said that they still expect to go trick or treating.
