Kim Kardashian wants to reach goal weight by 40 after 'gaining 18 pounds'
Nov. 04, 2019
Kim Kardashian has claimed she has ‘fallen off’ the wagon with her diet.
The 39-year-old has revealed she has gained 18 pounds and while Kim looks great at any weight, it seems the reality star is not happy about it.
Speaking on her Instagram story, the mum-of-four said: ‘It’s my eating. I work out but it’s like, my eating.’
Filming from the gym with her personal trainer Melissa Alcantara, Kim continued: ‘Ok, so we’re doing a night workout before my dinner, which I never do, with this one, but I figured we have to get into it at some point.
‘And yeah, I mean, sometimes you fall off and sometimes you really gotta get it together and this is one of my fallen off times where I am, I think, 18 pounds up from what I was about a year ago, a year and a half ago.’
Kim added that she wants to reach her goal weight by her next birthday – her 40th – on 21 October 2020.
She said: ‘To feel good, I just want to get it like, a really good goal weight and so that means working out at all costs…But Melissa and I have a major goal for by the time I’m 40.’
Kim has been vocal about her body over the years, and often resorts to strict diet plans to achieve her goal weights.
After gaining 60 pounds during her pregnancy with son Saint in 2015, Kim used the Atkins diet to lose her baby weight.
And to get into that insane corseted Thierry Mugler dress for the Met Gala in May, Kimmy prescribed to a vegan diet.
After hitting her goal weight last year, the make-up mogul told E! News: ‘I’ve lost 20 pounds and I’m really proud of that. I was almost 140 forever and now I’m, like, 116 and it just feels good.
‘At the time, she shared that she worked out for an hour and a half every day with heavy weights.’
While Kim seems to have turned to working out and healthy eating to lose weight this time, she has been criticised in the past for promoting detox teas and appetite suppressing lollipops on her Instagram account.
