PHOEBE WALLER-BRIDGE, creator of Fleabag and Killing Eve, transformed herself into a plump-lipped Love Island contestant for a sketch on American TV show Saturday Night Live at the weekend.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge, 34, looked unrecognisable when she starred in a Love Island sketch on Saturday Night Live at the weekend.
The award-winning actress and producer, who created BBC comedy Fleabag and drama Killing Eve , sported glam make-up and big lips to get into character for the skit which mocked the British show.
The star, who recently scooped three Emmy Awards for her hit TV series Fleabag, transformed herself into Bella-Rosa during a segment on the American show, which she was hosting.
Donning a white lace dress and putting on on her best Essex accent, she said: “I'm Bella-Rosa from Essex. My dad is a boxer and my mum is a pub.”
Drawing attention to her plump pout, she added: “Just got my lips done. I asked the doctor for an allergic reaction!”
The three minute sketch, which also featured laughable attempts at Irish, Scottish and Liverpudlian accents from other actors, saw Phoebe’s character select a man to couple up with.
Describing her perfect partner, Bella-Rosa said: “He’s got tattoos, he’s got really great banter, he’s proper fit. But at the same time, I’d go with anyone…”
On Saturday night, Phoebe made her hosting debut on the American TV show which also featured other comedy sketches and music from singer Taylor Swift, 29.
The successful star is currently at the top of her game after her recent Emmy wins and is expected to have an even busier year in 2020.
Phoebe co-wrote the screenplay for the next James Bond movie - No Time To Die - which is due to be released in April next year.
