Before Midnight Actress Julie Delpy Reveals That She Demanded 'Equal Pay' For 'Before' Franchise's Third Instalment

The Before trilogy's third film Before Midnight 's actress and director Julie Delpy in a recent interview revealed that she refused to be a part of the third series if she was not given an equal pay she would quit the project. Revealing her paycheque for the ' Before ' franchise, Julie revealed to Variety Magazine that she was first 'about a 10th of co-star Ethan Hawke's fee and for the second instalment, she was paid half of Ethan's salary. The Before trilogy's last film, 2013's Before Midnight , earned Julie a nomination for the best screenplay Oscar along with Ethan Hawke and the film's director, Richard Linklater.
The Before Trilogy has three films - Before Sunrise (1995), Before Sunset (2004) and Before Midnight (2013). All the three films have been set at nine-year intervals and all the films each film takes place over the course of a few hours, just like the first film.
