MAFS' Clint Rice goes rogue after quitting show
Mar 10, 2025
Married At First Sight star Clint Rice has opened up about his relationship with Lauren Hall following their dramatic exit from the experiment.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Clint, 43, revealed they still keep in touch despite their turbulent journey on the reality show.
'Loz is a great person, and she's obviously burnt out from the show. She had a tough start with Eliot and being humiliated, then coming back in,' he said.
Lauren's re-entry into the experiment was far from smooth sailing, with Clint revealing that production had made promises that weren't kept.
'I had to step in and help force some things to happen, like getting a bigger room that she was promised,' he explained.
The couple were initially placed in a small studio apartment, which Clint admitted wasn't ideal.
'We put our foot down for a two-bedroom, and we got it in the end. I was okay to stay anywhere, but I live in a house that's 550 square meters, so a studio apartment for potentially two months might not have been that much fun,' he continued.
Despite their challenges, Clint holds no ill will towards Lauren, acknowledging that she was navigating a tough emotional landscape after her first match with Eliot ended in disaster.
'She definitely had a guard up, wondering if she was going to get humiliated again or be left with undelivered promises that would make her feel uncomfortable,' he shared.
