If you believe nothing would ever intimidate “The Dutch Giant” — aka Olivier Richters, who plays mammoth bodyguard Paulie in Season 3 of think again. The Dutch actor and bodybuilder, who goes fist-to-fist with Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) this season, admits that, yes, there are some things that frighten even him.

“Spiders,” Richters admitted. “Nature. I hate insects.” Beyond that, when it comes to Season 3 or Reacher, Richters was rather freaked out about something else.

“The most fear I had for Reacher Season 3… when I read the script, is if I physically can pull it off. I'm huge, but the hard thing is moving in [this] body. We had four months of training with a great stunt coordinator/fight coordinator, and they learned how a giant can actually be as fast as Reacher. And I couldn't believe it at the end of the four months."

"But that was scary in the beginning," added Richters. "In the first two weeks, I didn't progress at all. Then week three, four, five, six, I started to learn and learn. It was an amazing journey physically.”

It's amazing to watch on screen. Alan Ritchson stands around six feet tall. Richters is a towering figure at 7’2” and a 350-lb. frame. The fight scenes between these two actors are downright epic and may go down as some of the best in television history. But yeah: super scary to prepare. And to watch.
