Meghan Markle wasn’t at the SAG Awards yesterday, but she was on Instagram. The Duchess of Sussex and former Suits actress shared a series of Instagram Stories showcasing her life at home, particularly as she wandered around her garden in Montecito, California. In one Story, Meghan appears wearing a Northwestern University sweater. In another, one of her children (5-year-old Archie or 3-year-old Lilibet) helps her water plants.

Meghan’s Northwestern top got a lot of attention. Some royal observers were quick to link it to Meghan’s late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, who wore a Northwestern sweater herself in 1996. noted that Diana had received the top as a souvenir during her visit to the university in June of that year.

In 2014, she made her first visit to the university since finishing her degree. The actress had been promoting Suits at the time and told North by Northwestern magazine , “It’s surreal being back because I haven’t been back since I graduated, and as I am walking around I remember things like the schlep of getting to South Campus from up north. The 24-hour Burger King also definitely helped me put on the Freshman Fifteen.”
