Gujarat in western India, is known for its strict prohibition laws. While Lynchburg, Tennessee is also a dry county, where Jack Daniel's is produced. Despite being the birthplace of the world's most famous Tennessee whisky.

This means even though Jack Daniel’s is produced in Lynchburg, residents and visitors are not allowed to purchase or consume alcohol within the county. Tourists visiting the Jack Daniel's distillery can enjoy the whisky in the tasting room but cannot purchase a bottle to take home – unless they travel from outside the county.
