Euro 2020 qualifiers: Cristiano Ronaldo nets 699th goal

European champions Portugal edged closer to qualifying for Euro 2020, with a convincing 3-0 win over Luxembourg on Friday night.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 699th career goal in all competitions for club and country, leaving Portugal on 11 points from five matches.
Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva fired his side into the lead in the 16th minute, before Ronaldo pounced on an error to lob the ball over Anthony Moris to make it 2-0.
It was his 94th international goal.
Goncalo Guedes sealed the win with an 89th-minute effort.
However, Ukraine still lead Group B, after beating Lithuania 2-0 to give them 16 points from six games.
The two top teams face off on Monday.
