Burna boy wins the BET award for Best International Act 2020 and he has a beautiful message for all Africans.
Africa is definitely winning globally especially these past couple of years, and it's only proper that we unite as one people to celebrate the efforts of brave and courageous African men and women, who are making strides in their various industries.
Nigerian Singer and song writer, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu Rex, known professionally as Burna Boy, had a really amazing year in 2019 with his fourth studio album African Giant which was released in July 2019; it won Album of the Year at the 2019 All Africa Music Awards and was nominated for Best World Music Album at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards.
Burna Boy beat A-list super stars like Stormzy, Innoss'B, Sho Majozi and Dave to win his second (2nd) Black Entertainment Television (BET) awards for the Best International Act category yesterday in a virtual ceremony. British model and business woman, Naomi Campbell presented the awards to Burna Boy and congratulated him on his great achievement.
Burna Boy took the opportunity to comment on the issues of racism and unity among the black community. He urged all Africans to stand as one because that was the only way we will survive.
