The DJ admitted he 'can't remember a thing' of his Coachella set
Deadmau5 has weighed in on his Coachella set and vowed to commit to a 'personal resetting'.
The Canadian electronic music producer and DJ - real name Joel Thomas Zimmerman - performed at Coachella on Friday night (April 18).
However, his back-to-back set with fellow producer and singer ZHU - full name Steven Zhu - on the iconic festival's Quasar stage came to an abrupt end with the performance seemingly halted by organizers.
And it didn't take long for clips to be shared online of Deadmau5 onstage, appearing intoxicated alongside repeatedly falling over.
One Twitter user said: "The hero of this clip is the dude in the background telling the sound tech to 'cut the mic.' I genuinely feel bad for the crowd. This set had so much potential then Joel (Deadmau5) ruined it."
And the 44-year-old has since addressed his performance in a post to Instagram.
Sharing a photograph of a water bottle on a table, the musician captioned the image: "I dont remember a thing. But I don't think I had a cig? So... that's good I guess? Going back to bed. Wake me up around Thursday ish."
He added in the comments: "Probably my last coachella show."
And his cat later made an appearance too, alongside a longer 'sorry'.
The caption reads: "Man, even my cat is disappointed in me. Tho, it could be argued that she always has been. sorry about last night. Lol. TO BE FAIR, I felt the first 3/4 was great!
