Mar 18, 2025
A man who became an internet celebrity after revealing his unusual 'fish and rice cake' diet, is set to become the star of a new E4 dating show.
Danny Andrews earned online stardom nearly two decades ago after a hilarious video of him explaining his daily diet, which consisted solely and fish and rice cakes, went viral on social media.
Originally from Barrow in Cumbria, Danny was just 16-years-old when he revealed his strange diet during an appearance on a BBC show called Baby Face Body Builders, in 2007.
Now 35, the fish lover has come a long way since becoming a meme sensation, and now runs his own barbers as well as a protein rice cake company.
And that's not all. The body builder has now been revealed as the star in the second season of a popular E4 dating show called Love Triangle.
Speaking to NW Mail, the meme star revealed his reasons for signing up to the show. He explained that he didn't feel like it was 'the norm' to meet someone in person anymore, adding that dating apps 'are not for me'.
The show will see six singles, all desperate for love, come face to face with a series of dilemmas.
The premise of the show will see each single select from one of two expertly chosen matches based solely on text conversations with other candidates.
They will then face some of the biggest challenges in a relationship by moving in together sight unseen.
