Who has done a 9 dart finish in the Premier League Darts?
Mar 15, 2025
The nine darter. The holy grail. Sporting perfection.
In simple terms, this is the darts equivalent of a perfect game. The minimum number of throws a player can use to take out 501 and win a leg is nine.
This comprises of back-to-back treble 20s, leaving 141 from their final darts. Each leg must finish on a double and the most common route to the nine darter is via another treble 20, treble 19 and double 12. Treble 20, treble 15 and double 18 is the most popular alternative.
The Premier League represents the cream of darts competition, so how often does this feat happen? Perhaps not as often as you might think.
