Every F1 driver salary for 2025 as Lando Norris' wage is dwarfed by three rivals
Mar 15, 2025

Lando Norris was a huge threat in the 2024 F1 campaign, but it appears the McLaren ace's salary does not come close to some of the drivers he surpassed last year

Lando Norris may have been Max Verstappen's closest challenger, but he is dwarfed by three other rivals in regards to salary.
Norris, 25, gave the Flying Dutchman a scare with his impressive form in the second part of the 2024 campaign. With Red Bull still seemingly enduring issues with the car and internal politics, and Lewis Hamilton starting his new venture with Ferrari, Norris will be hoping to take advantage of any uncertainty.
The young Brit will no doubt have ambitions of ending Verstappen's run of four consecutive world championships, but his yearly earnings do not even get him on the podium. Record Sport has a look at the Bristolian's earnings.
Hamilton's switch to Ferrari not only fulfils the Brit's childhood dream, it will also guarantee him an annual salary of £48 million per year. Yet, the seven-time world champion's salary is not even the highest in the sport.
That gong belongs to Verstappen, who pulls in a seismic £52m per year at Red Bull. Taking pole three in the salary rankings is Ferrari's newest understudy Charles Leclerc, who earns an estimated £27m per year.
Norris is left in the dust by the aforementioned trio, as he earns around £18m per year. Interestingly, his understudy and driving partner Oscar Piastri recently signed a new contract that has brought his from £4.7m per annum to level with his team-mate.
