John Barrowman, Doctor Who and Torchwood's "Captain Jack Harkness", is well-remembered for playing the "Ninth Doctor's" companion on the hit BBC series. Born March 11, 1967 in Glasgow, Scotland, Barrowman would move to the United States when he was just eight years old.
Inspired by his high school acting days, Barrowman would go on to study at the United States International University before making his way to London's West End and Broadway.
