White vinegar, known for its simple effectiveness, has long been a go-to natural cleaner as well as a kitchen staple. On hand to tackle a variety of cleaning challenges, it sometime works even better when combined with other things.
Cleaning gurus from @connecttrades on TikTok share that when mixed with washing-up liquid, vinegar can take clear up severe limescale on shower screens. In the video, they advise using "one part vinegar with three drops of dishwashing liquid and one part water".
The acidic nature of white vinegar gets rid of hard water marks and limescale that cling to shower screens. Washing-up liquid on the other hand, cuts through grease and oil as well, making it effective at cleaning up soap scum and dirty residue.
To see how well this works, start by decanting the washing-up liquid into an empty spray bottle. Next, put the white vinegar into a microwave-safe bowl, and heat it in the microwave for roughly one minute.
The process of heating up vinegar enhances the solubility of vinegar, making it more effective at breaking down stubborn hard water stains, reports the Express.
