Dancing on Ice winner revealed during live final – and it's not who fans thought
Mar 10, 2025

The winner of ITV's Dancing on Ice have been revealed, after three couples took to the ice to battle it out, but TV bosses are reportedly concerned over the future of the show

The winner of Dancing on Ice 2025 has been crowned as Sam Aston along with his professional partner, Molly Lanaghan.
Tonight, Michaela Strachan, Sam Aston and Anton Ferdinand took to the ice for the final time, performing three routines, including their own take on Torvill and Dean's iconic Bolero routine from the Sarajevo Winter Olympics in 1984. Anton placed third following his showcase number to Let's Go Crazy by Prince And The Revolution. Last weekend, Anton landed in the skate-off against TOWIE star Dan Edgar. After a tense skate-off, the judges decided to save Anton, meaning Dan just missed out on a place in the final.
However, all three couples battled it out, with just one emerging victorious. Previously, predictors revealed the far-out favourite was Sam. Before the night, Michael was the highest scoring celebrity of the season after she was given an impressive 49/50 points.
The BonusCodeBets.co.uk Supercomputer, analysed the key traits of all 16 previous champions to predict this year’s winner, suggests that Aston will beat the bookies favourite Michaela Strachan. The reason being that Corrie star Sam Aston most closely met the Supercomputer’s description of a typical winner, as almost half of previous winners (47%) have been actors.
