Liam Gallagher has hit out at child support claims amid his fresh legal battle with the mother of his youngest child.

The Oasis frontman is reportedly embroiled in a bitter court battle with ex Liza Ghorbani, the mother of his 12-year-old daughter Gemma, after she recently launched a new claim for increased child support in a New York court. According to sources, the 51-year-old, who had a brief affair with the Manchester-born rocker when she interviewed him in 2010, has demanded more child support money ahead of Liam’s big Oasis reunion tour.

The gigs have reportedly landed Liam and brother Noel Gallagher, 57, a whopping £50 million. Sources claim that Liza is "taking advantage" of Liam's fortune. They went on to add that he's "already generous" and has continued to meet his child support obligations.

After news of the fresh legal battle emerged, Liam took to social media to hit out at his ex, and revealed the staggering amount of child support he was already paying to Liza. “GOLD DIGGER,” he posted on X/Twitter. “And it’s 300 grand a year not 36 grand a year get your SUMS right LG x.”

The case, filed in the New York Supreme Court under "Liza Ghorbani vs. Liam Gallagher – child support," marks the first legal move since a confidential settlement was reached in 2015. At that time, reports suggested Ghorbani was receiving around £3,000 per month. Reflecting on the resolution, she previously stated: "I'm just really relieved this ordeal is over for the sake of my daughter."
