The Telegraph has named its' top ten pubs to watch the Six Nations, and three Cardiff pubs are included
The top pubs to watch the Six Nations in have been ranked ahead of another busy weekend in the tournament. The Daily Telegraph has come up with the top 10 pubs to watch rugby in the cities hosting the action.
Three popular Cardiff pubs have been included in the list and one even claims the top spot. The Old Arcade, in Church Street, took the top spot with The Telegraph calling the pub the perfect mix of "character, charm, and atmosphere" while also being a short walk from both Chippy Lane and the Principality Stadium. "Few places brim with match-day élan like it," they added.
In fifth place was the City Arms. The classic pub, almost within touching distance of the stadium, was described in the list as "a traditional city-centre boozer" and they deemed the beer selection "favourable". Making up the Cardiff boozers on the list was the Prince of Wales. The Wetherspoon pub was deemed "a Cardiff institution" by The Telegraph. Its size, big screens, and Welsh choir matchday performances were some of the reasons which put the pub on the list.
