Newcastle transfer news: Three summer signings 'lined up' including 'verbal agreement' for £30m top target
Mar 6, 2025
Newcastle United have already lined up three new signings for the summer transfer window, according to a report.
The Magpies have faced their challenges with complying with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules and have subsequently been quiet across the last two transfer windows with regards to incomings.
Eddie Howe will hope that there is money to spend in the summer, though, and qualification for next season's Champions League will help Newcastle attract several of their desired targets.
Newcastle currently sit six in the Premier League table and just three points behind the top four, while they also have an EFL Cup final against Liverpool at Wembley to look forward to at the end of March.
While Howe is focused on finishing the season strongly on the pitch, sporting director Paul Mitchell is working hard behind the scenes with Newcastle's recruitment team and the Daily Mail claims that he held a scouting summit last weekend where a list of targets was drawn up.
Newcastle to sign teenage duo Salia, Cordero
Newcastle have already agreed a deal to sign highly-rated Georgian forward Vakhtang Salia, who will officially join the club from Dinamo Tbilisi when he turns 18 in August.
