New Guitar Hero mobile game has fans asking for more
Recently, Activision took to Instagram to reveal a poster for an upcoming mobile version of Guitar Hero.
The poster featured four silhouettes holding guitars against an electrifying backdrop. The caption read, “Play your way — Guitar Hero goes mobile.” As the name suggests, the game is specifically designed for mobile phones and tablets. Fans quickly flooded the comment section, expressing excitement for the game.
However, many fans searched for the game on the Apple Store and felt disappointed when they discovered it didn’t exist yet. A pop-up notification suggested the product might launch in the future, keeping some fans excited. Meanwhile, others criticized Activision on social media, accusing the company of using an AI-generated poster to create hype and test market interest.
