When Jamie Vardy isn’t scoring goals for Leicester City, he can usually be found causing mischief.
Vardy is a well-renowned joker and often winds up teammates and opposition fans at any given opportunity.
His humour is very similar to the popular Channel 4 comedy programme, The Inbetweeners and he even allegedly calls his long-time group of friends by the same name.
Now a Leicester City legend, the Foxes star is rightly one of the top earners at the club and occasionally likes to treat himself to a well-deserved reward.
So, when the opportunity to buy one of the show’s most iconic pieces in 2021 arose, Vardy wasn’t going to ignore that.

From hilarious one liners to cringey moments, there is plenty that people can recall from The Inbetweeners.
However, the car driven by Simon is synonymous with everyone who has watched the show.
A 1996 Fiat Cinquecento Hawaii, with a red door on a yellow car, was driven by the quartet throughout the show.

The legendary car then went up for auction in 2021 and reports suggested that Vardy was one of those looking to make a bid.
Speaking to The Sun at the time, a close source to Vardy revealed: “He’s told his mates he wants to have it as a collector’s piece.”
Meanwhile, auctioneer Andrew Stow added: “It’s just so British. It’s an underdog — yet everyone wants a piece of it.”
