Erin and Ben Napier Reveal If They Have Plans to Quit HGTV’s ‘Home Town’: ‘How Much Longer?’
Mar 5, 2025
Erin and Ben Napier are one of HGTV’s most popular couples, but what does their future on the network look like? The Home Town cohosts opened up about the exciting next chapter of their careers and whether or not they plan to stay on the network.
During a Tuesday, March 4, interview, Erin, 39, and Ben, 41, discussed what they hope for their future on HGTV after signing a new deal.
“HGTV has been extremely good to us and our family. Somebody asked me recently, ‘How much longer are you going to do this?’ We’ll do it until they don’t want us to, I guess,” Ben told TV Insider.
Erin replied, “Do it till it don’t as we say.”
Ben added, “Of course, we’re happy to have it.”
But the couple said that their “first priority” is always their family.
“If there is ever a point it feels like it might be affecting our family in a negative way, we walk away,” Erin, who shares daughters Helen, 7, and Mae, 3, with Ben, said.
“And HGTV knows that. They respect that,” the woodworker said.
It was first announced on January 27 that the home renovators signed a multiyear talent deal with HGTV that extended Home Town “for 32 more episodes shooting through 2027.”
“The HGTV family is where we belong. Shows are often impermanent but Home Town endures, we think, because it lives on a network that teaches and gives comfort to people. It’s more than pretty houses. That’s something we are proud to be part of,” Erin and Ben said in a joint statement after the news was announced.
