Courteney Cox and Michael Keaton made up a 90s super couple that lasted for over five years. She and the Batman (1989) actor began dating in 1989 and enjoyed a private relationship that withstood the pressures of Hollywood for quite some time. In a 1995 interview with PEOPLE, Cox got candid with the publication after the duo called it quits.
“It’s the most important relationship I’ve ever had, and I think he’s the most wonderful person I’ve ever met,” she shared. “No matter how upset or pissed off I was, Michael could make a little face and crack me up.” Though the reason for their split was unclear, she further shared that, “Nothing about our relationship was ever simple.”
