UK weather maps show exactly when spring will start with days set to be getting longer

The exact date that spring will begin in the UK has been revealed, promising an end to snow and adverse weather conditions. Weather maps indicate that spring is on its way, with days set to lengthen and sunshine expected to bathe hundreds of towns and cities across the country.
By March 8, temperatures could reach a pleasant 15C in southern counties such as Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Kent, and East and West Sussex, according to predictions from WX Charts, which uses Met Desk data for its forecasts. The Midlands could also enjoy highs of 13C.
A Met Office forecast covering Tuesday 4 March - Thursday 13 March explains: " A split in weather conditions is likely across the UK during early March. Northwestern areas will see some rain and stronger winds at times, as Atlantic weather systems arrive from the west.
"These spells of wet and windy weather will drift southeast to some degree, but will weaken. High pressure is likely to have more influence across the south of the UK, at least at first. Here, there should be a good deal of fine/dry weather at first with a chance of night frosts and morning fog patches, but some pleasantly mild afternoons, and feeling warm in the sunshine.
"However, towards mid-March, there is an increasing chance of unsettled conditions becoming more widely dominant across the UK with more in the way of rain at times, even in the south." An outlook for 14 March - Friday 28 March has also been issued, reports Birmingham Live.
