Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Review
Feb 17, 2025
A reasonably good midrange tablet.
The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro is another in the lineup of budget-friendly tablets from the Chinese company, with the mainstays being the popular Tab Px series. In fact, the Idea Tad Pro is a true successor to the Tab P12, retaining some of the core functionalities and features and upgrading the internals a little bit.
More importantly, it keeps the wallet-friendly price intact. For AED 1,445, you get a nice, big 12.7" LCD display, impressively loud quad speaker setup, a competent stylus with baked-in software to support it, and a MediaTek chipset that is reasonably snappy.
However, the choppy gaming performance and less-than-stellar battery life keeps from the Idea Pad Pro from being the midrange banger it could have been.
Design, Build and Features
At 620g, and measuring 11.5”x7.45”, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro is a sufficiently large tablet but remains relatively comfortable to hold in the hands thanks to its 6.9mm thickness and the sizable bezels that gives enough room to grip the device without touching the screen.
It only comes in a single colorway - Luna Grey - and it’s a nice, subtle coat of paint but picks up fingerprints and smudges quite easily. The back also houses the single 13MP camera along with an LED flash, encased in a transparent glass enclosure.
