In contrast, Ampaw criticized former President John Mahama's campaign strategy, labeling it as "armchair" and lacking concrete policies. He expressed concern that Mahama relies on prophecies and polls rather than engaging in meaningful work.

Ampaw urged Ghanaians to vote wisely, cautioning against entrusting the country to a party without a clear future beyond Mahama's tenure. He emphasized that Mahama is not a viable alternative and encouraged citizens to support Bawumia.
