According to the former traffic police officer Linda Okello,during her early days in the national police service, she encountered a number of problems with her seniors. Her first post landed her in trouble as the OCS did not like the way she dressed up as a police officer. She even remembered how she was summoned in office for her casual clothes.Her vocal and humour did not even go well with the top ranked officers who used to summon her almost after every post.

Linda Okello was eventually dismissed from the police service for wearing a skirt that was deemed unfit for a police officer. Okello left the country for USA where she continued with her studies and she is currently one of the richest Kenyans in USA.
