Soccer legend Neymar announced the birth of his third child in July 2024

Neymar is Brazil’s national soccer team’s highest scorer, but according to one of his friends, he’s also an “incredible” father to his three kids, Davi Lucca, Mavie and Helena.

The soccer star, whose full name is Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, became a father for the first time in August 2011 when he welcomed his first child, son Davi Lucca, with Carolina Dantas. Neymar's second child, daughter Mavie, followed 12 years later, in October 2023, during his relationship with Bruna Biancardi. In July 2024, less than nine months after Mavie's birth, the midfielder announced he had welcomed a third child, daughter Helena, with Amanda Kimberlly.

Before Neymar became a dad of three, NBA star Jimmy Butler told The Guardian in January 2024 that the athlete is an “incredible dad” who “does so much for them.”

Butler continued, “He’s always around them, teaching them everything about life, about whatever they want to put their mind to. Man, it’s incredible to watch. And I learn from it.”

While Neymar has a busy career, combining his Brazil duties with playing for Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League, he spends a lot of time with his children, often sharing photos of them on social media and bringing them on the field after games.
