M-Net held the screening of their new drama series White Lies at The Forum Embassy Hill, Constantia in Cape Town on Friday 1 March, where The South African was present.

White Lies, the new M-Net international co-production dabbles into a world of crime, passion, drugs and double-dealing in a divided city. The riveting crime thriller is set in the picturesque suburb of Bishopscourt, a playground for the ultra wealthy elites of Cape Town.

As Edie, played by Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer, hunts for the killer across the complicated, beautiful city of Cape Town, she crosses from the leafy Southern Suburbs of white privilege to the poverty-ravaged badlands and back again, discovering that evil knows no boundaries – and it doesn’t discriminate.
