A Brief History Of Lionel Messi
Dec 3, 2020
Lionel Messi is an Argentinian footballer widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. He plays for the Argentina  team and Barcelona. He has won FIFA world player of the year four times (a super world record). He has often been described as the successor of the legendary  Diego Maradona because of his prolific goal scoring record and ability to dribble past opponents.
All was not before as his mother was a cleaner and his father was a factory steel worker before he could realize his dream.
He began playing from a very tender age and his talent was soon apparent. However, at the age of 11, Messi was diagnosed with growth hormone deficiency a condition that causes stunted growth that required an expensive treatment.
His local club, River Plate were muvh interested in signing Lionel Messi but suprisingly they didn't want to pay for his medical treatment. Nevertheless, Messi was given a trial with FC Barcelona, and coach Carles Rexach was impressed – offering Messi a contract which included paying for Messi's treatment in an hospital in the  Spanish land. Messi moved to Barcelona together with his father and became part of the cerebrated Barcelona youth academy.
Over the course of his career,     Messi has rewarded half dozen  Ballon d'Or awards, the most for any football player, not forgetting the 2009 FIFA World Player of the Year as well as the The Best FIFA Football Awards 2019.
