Chairman of the Ghana Creative Arts council Mark Okraku Mantey has revealed that he has received 500 pounds (about GHC3,694) from Sarkodie for being part of his Party and Bullsh*t song that features Idris Elba and Donae’o.
Speaking in a short video, Mark said his purpose for doing the video is to clear the misconception that people don’t get rewards for their contributions to creative pieces in the Ghana music industry.
He remarked that 500 pounds may not buy a house or a car but it feels good to be rewarded for one’s efforts.
He went on to say that other musicians should learn from Sarkodie for doing the right so that the music industry would grow.
“ Sark I got the 500 pounds and I really appreciate it “, he concluded.
