I Am Not Divorcing Offset To Gain Attention - Cardi B Cries Out
Sept. 22, 2020
US rapper, Cardi B has come out to rubbish reports that she is divorcing her husband, Offset just to garner attention.
Recall that on September 16, the entertainment world woke up to the shocking news that the 27-year-old had filed for divorce from her rapper hubby, Offset with whom she has a 2-year-old daughter, Kulture.
Since then, there have been whisperings that the "WAP" rapper was using the divorce to gather clout for a forthcoming project. This is actually not the first time Cardi is separating from Offset since their secret wedding in 2016.
Recall in 2019, in a now-famous video, the rapper announced that she had ended her marriage to Offset.
According to her, they had fallen out of love, hence the decision to call it quits.
"I have been trying to work things out with my baby father and we are really good friends and business partners and we've got a lot of love for each other...things haven't been working out between us for a long time and it's nobody's fault," she said.
"I don't know it might take time to get a divorce and I am always going to love him forever because he is my daughter's father."
However, she made a U-turn after Offset made a public apology at one of her biggest festival performances at Rolling Loud.

“Nothing crazy out of this world happened. Sometimes people really do f–king grow apart. I’ve been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man.”
