A Nigerian woman identified as Evi Abada has inspired the social media community with her resilient spirit and determination to succeed. She has finally been accepted for medical residency in the United States after constant rejections.
She said she was being rejected because she had been out of medical school for a while, but she never gave up.
Abada said she kept applying and improving her CV despite the rejection until someone decided to give her a chance.
She wrote: "I was given that opportunity.
"And I was recently honored as one of 40 under 40 emerging leaders by the American Society for Clinical Pathology."
She implored people in authority with the power to make a difference in others to not write people off, adding that people should be given the opportunity to grow and shine.
