First set of stranded Ghanaian girls in Lebanon have arrived in Ghana following a plea to Kennedy Agyapong to assist their evacuation.
The controversial member of Parliament came to their aid and donated $150,000 to help their evacuation.
He then appealed to other benevolent Ghanaians to help as the money wasn’t enough to evacuate all the 900,000 girls.
Finally first set numbering 300 have arrived as confirmed by Kennedy Agyapong.
According to the legislator, some of the girls who arrived are pregnant with some being ill.
He said initially the known stranded girls were 900 but additional 400 people have joined sending the number to over 1000.
