Club Brugge vs Manchester United LIVE commentary: talkSPORT coverage of Europa League tie
Feb. 20, 2020
Manchester United return to Europa League action tonight as they take on Club Brugge in their Round of 32 first-leg tie.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side topped Group L before Christmas and will now take on Belgian First Division leaders Brugge.
Philippe Clement’s men dropped out of the Champions League earlier this season having been drawn in the same group as Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
United are in good form having beaten Chelsea 2-0 on Monday night but face a quick turnaround from that Premier League clash.
They’ll be looking to take a lead back to Old Trafford for the second leg on February 27.

Club Brugge vs Man United: What has been said?
Club Brugge ace and former Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet: “It’s not me against Manchester United or me playing against an English team.
“It’s Club Brugge against Manchester United and we have to play our game as a team and as a club to try and give us the best platform to play the second leg at Old Trafford.
“I’ve said it before, Manchester United are a really good team. They’re playing well. It’s going to be a tough fixture, it’s going to be tough challenge.
“And for our boys, it’s a new challenge to face against an English team at the European stage so we look forward to that in the first place.
“We have a young team, we are a club who want to invest in young players also and these experiences, like in the Champions League, like playing against Manchester United, are very crucial for the development of all our players,” he said.
“So I’m really looking forward to these two games to see where my young squad can end.”
Club Brugge vs Man United: Team news
Mason Greenwood was absent from United’s training yesterday but Scott McTominay took part in the open session as he closes in on a return to action.
The Scotland international has not played since suffering a knee injury during the 4-1 win over Newcastle on Boxing Day.
Odion Ighalo, Axel Tuanzebe and Victor Lindelof also took part in training, even though the Swedish defender missed the victory at Stamford Bridge through illness.
Ighalo, who signed on loan from Shanghai Shenhua on transfer deadline day, made his United debut as a late substitute against Chelsea and is in line for his first start.
Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba remain unavailable for the foreseeable future.
