Europa League results: Celtic book place in knockout stage with late winner against Lazio, Rangers get important victory over Porto

Celtic reached the Europa League knockout stages with two games to spare thanks to a late winner against Lazio on Thursday.
Ciro Immobile’s early goal was cancelled out by James Forrest before Olivier Ntcham netted the 94th minute decider to put Neil Lennon’s side through.
Lennon made three changes to his side that beat Hibernian 5-2 at the weekend.
Jonny Hayes came in for the injured Boli Bolingoli while Hatem Elhamed returned at right-back and Ryan Christie also came into the side.
Four sections of the Stadio Olimpico were shut for the Europa League clash because of the racist behaviour of the Lazio fans in their previous two matches.
Ciro Immobile put Lazio after just seven minutes when Celtic gave him far too much time in the box to slot home in the far right corner.
James Forrest scored a superb equaliser seven minutes before half-time when he smashed across the goalkeeper into the top corner.
Both sides had opportunities to grab a winner in the second half and it looked like it was heading for a draw, which Celtic would no doubt have taken.
Up stepped Olivier Ntcham to net the 94th minute goal to give them the three points and seal a place in the knockout stages.
It was also the first time Celtic had even won away from home against an Italian opponent in 13 attempts.
It was a good night for Scottish football as Rangers boosted their chances of Europa League knockout qualification with a 2-0 win against Porto.
Alfredo Morelos put Steven Gerrard’s side 1-0 up after 69 minutes before Steven Davis doubled that four minutes later.
Rangers are now second in their group with two matches left to play and three points clear of Feyenoord and Porto in third and fourth respectively.
