Many Barcelona fans rave about star's "masterclass performance" vs Dortmund
Sept. 18, 2019
Barcelona’s Champions League opener did not really go as planned.
The Catalans came face to face with Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park and were forced to settle for a 0-0 draw.
The hosts, though, could well have won the game; racking up 13 shots compared to Barcelona’s seven.

The only person standing between the German team and victory, however, was Marc-Andre ter Stegen, the Blaugrana’s first-choice man between the sticks, who had different ideas.
Not only did he save Marco Reus’ penalty but he also made a number of crucial saves throughout the game to keep the clean sheet and earn his side a potentially vital point.
Many of the club’s fans recognised his heroics and were quick to jump to social media and Twitter to shower him with praise.
One even called him “el mejor del mundo”, which translates to “the best in the world”.
