Woman appears in court charged with murder of man found dead at flat in Dukinfield

A woman has appeared in court charged with the murder of John Robinson.
Clare McMahon, 34, appeared at Manchester Crown Square Crown Court via video link on Friday.
John Robinson, 37, was found dead at a flat on Pennine Terrace on Peel Street, Dukinfield on May 23.
Clare McMahon, of Pennine Terrace, Dukinfield, is charged with murder and an alternative count of manslaughter in relation to Mr Robinson's death.
Wearing a white-coloured jumper, she entered not guilty pleas to both charges.
A two-week trial has been set for later this year.
John Robinson was found dead at a flat in Tameside
Police were called by the ambulance service at 12.15am on Thursday, May 23, to reports that a man had been stabbed.
Mr Robinson was found dead inside.
He was described as a 'loving brother, uncle and friend' by his family.
Mr Robinson's loved ones said: "Everyone loved him that knew him. He had a heart of gold, was funny and hard-working. John was a big Manchester United fan.
"The whole family are heartbroken and devastated."
Clare McMahon was remanded in custody and is due to appear for a trial at Manchester Crown Square on November 18.
