National Assembly leadership has familiarised Kwale Women Rep Zulekha Hamisi with the parliament's reserved room for lactating mothers.
This came barely day after the MP was kicked out of parliament for sneaking in the debating chambers with a baby.
The women rep was on Thursday, August 8, shown the crèche facility within the precincts of Parliament where lactating mothers are supposed to breastfeed their babies.
Zulekha was taken around the facility and inspected the items and equipment in the reserved room.
Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) established the facility to cater for welfare of members and staff after a resolution was made by the House.

The Kwale MP caused a stir in the House on Wednesday, August 7, mid-morning, after she walked in the chambers carrying the infant.
Acting Speaker Chris Omulele ordered her out of the House for violating standing orders of parliament.
The dramatic incident lasted for close to an hour with a section of MPs accusing acting speaker of being insensitive to the circumstance the women rep had found herself in.
