Sep 21, 2020
President Uhuru Kenyatta has extended the nationwide curfew by three days ahead of his public address slated for Tuesday 29th September 2020.
The curfew which was set to come to an end on Saturday 26th has seen the Head of State chair a meeting with the National Emergency Response on Coronavirus as revealed by State House.
Matters to be discussed will be to chart a way forward on how the country to the new normal to adapt to the virus, how the country will bounce back from the impact of the pandemic, strengthening good practices including local manufacturing and honor COVID-19 heroes.
It is after the meeting that President Uhuru Kenyatta will address the country and issue the best way forward in containing the virus.
The news comes at a time when the country is recording low numbers as the Ministry of Health warns against indulging in activities that may cause a surge in cases.
Political leaders on the other hand have raised so many questions as they address rallies in disregard of precautions endangering lives of people.
The question among Kenyans is as to whether the virus really or the government is playing politics on the pandemic.
