Dec 2, 2020
APPLE has revealed the world's best and most popular apps and games for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac.
So if you've not bagged any apps recently, now's your chance to scoop up some of the finest Apple's App Store has to offer.
There are 15 apps hand-picked by Apple's own experts.
And there are the yearly rankings of best-performing apps on the App Store.
The overall App of the Year winner for iPhone is Wakeout!, which is a hugely popular exercise app.
For iPad, Zoom came on top – with insiders at the video chat app telling The Sun that their simple and reliable design helped them trump rivals.
Game of the Year for iPhone was China's ludicrously fun Genshin Impact, which riffs on adventure games like The Legend of Zelda.
The Mac App of the Year was Fantastical, an impressive calendar app whose owner described the achievement as "incredible".
On the Apple Watch, the winning app was Endel – which provides a soundscape based on the time of day, your movements and even your heart-rate.
And the winning Apple Arcade game was Sneaky Sasquatch, a brilliant and kid-friendly app created by two Canadian pals.
