British Vogue September issue: Edward Enninful showcases activists of 'hope' British Vogue September issue: Edward Enninful showcases activists of 'hope' no Close Edward Enninful has made significant changes to British Vogue since taking over the editorship three years ago. In the wake of recent events, he's dedicated the famous September issue to 40 activists, including footballer Marcus Rashford and model Adwoa Aboah. All global editions of Vogue are uniting their latest issues under the theme of "hope". Photographer Misan Harriman has also made British Vogue history by being the first black male to snap the cover in the magazine's 104-year history. Journalist and author Reni Eddo-Lodge is one of the activists featured as a face of change. The BBC's Brenda Emmanus hears from all three on the making of the September issue.
