BBNAIJA MUST STOP! Nigerian Prophet Threatens To Halt BBNaija With His Spiritual Powers (VIDEO)

July. 31, 2020

A Nigerian prophet has come out to warn the authorities to shut down ongoing reality tv show, Big Brother Naija.
The clergyman identified as Prophet Ebelenna Chukwu in a video which has since gone viral asked that the reality tv show be shut down because it is corrupting the minds of Nigerian youths.
He further threatened that if his calls were not heeded, he would invoke his spiritual powers and shut down the show himself.
''If Nigerian government did not shut BBNaija down, I will shut them down by force. With my spiritual capability, I can do it. I know who I am. I am not a prophet that is boasting'' he said
According to the prophet, the future of the Nigerian child is at stake if the Nigerian government should allow the program to continue. He said the program is propagating pornography.

Prophet Chukwu is not the only one that has advocated for the cancellation of BBNaija in recent times. Recall that last week, reports emerged that Minister for Information & Culture, Lai Mohammed had told the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) to cancel the show.
According to reports, Lai Mohammed had instructed the NBC to take Big Brother Naija (BBN) off the air citing fears of a possible spread of COVID-19 among housemates.
Reports have it that the order was given on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Armstrong Idachaba, acting director-general of the NBC, had told senior management members that he had been directed by the minister to shut down the show.
Recall that Big Brother Naija which is unarguably Africa's biggest reality tv show kicked off its 2020 edition on July 19, 2020.
The NBC was to use fears of spread of COVID-19 as the reason, citing directives from the presidential task force (PTF), insiders said.
The acting DG was said to have told the meeting that he would have no other option than to carry out Mohammed’s order — the same way he altered the broadcast code to please the minister despite public outcry.
However, When reached for comments, Idachaba simply said BBN will not be taken off the air but did not provide any further information.
